AID AFRICA
Serving the most vulnerable in rural Malawi

Malawi is regarded as one of the poorest countries in the world; in the remote regions, there’s acute poverty, widespread hunger and malnutrition.
Aid Africa, a small UK charity, powerfully impacts Malawi’s rural areas by running an integrated group of projects, each tailored to local need, designed to empower communities and help individuals in our target group: orphans, the elderly, those living with disabilities and the AIDS-affected.
Our Mission

Providing
food and shelther to the frailest

Enabling
safe water, education, and training to empower communities

Encouraging
self-sustainability over dependency
Our focus this month;-
Help with community roofing ....
Currently it’s the hot, dry season in rural Malawi, but traditionally, the weather will break soon and rains pour down. Great news for farmers, but disastrous for so many vulnerable households in the rural areas whose grass roofing has collapsed or been left particularly fragile. Many aren’t able to afford replacement, leaving frail folk sleeping in puddles—inside their houses!
Every month we try to replace a few, but the threatening rainy season brings a desperate urgency and many are needed—would you like to help?
For information:
A simple thatched roof replacement costs about £112, but a donation of any amount towards the cost of materials, will be practically constructive as well as greatly appreciated!
Would you like to help?
See our Donations Page (via "donate now" button) for more info....
and would you urgently consider setting up a monthly Standing Order to partner with us, or if you're more comfortable sending a cheque, please make it payable to "Aid Africa" and send to P.O.Box 103, Fakenham, NR21 1BF.
Many thanks!

Thanks for the chance of education!
It’s been tough this year to formulate our education programme.
Following the General Election, when sweeping promises were made, the future of funding students was unclear and current fees high.
However, we added another 20 students to our lists, replacing those that had left school after taking final exams, making a total of 46 teens, excited at being given a chance to succeed!
Thank you!
